In this talk Professor Clemens Cavallin discusses critically Christianity as a cultural resource in Europe with the help of polls on the importance of religion, the number of people who self-identify as Christians and in what they actually believe. The main argument is that if Christianity is to have a significant cultural and political impact in Europe in the future then the idea of it as a valued cultural heritage is not enough.
